The Minster School York has a five-day working week for pupils; our pupils do not attend Saturday lessons. Some pupils come in for our popular, free, Community Outreach Saturday Choir with the Director of Music, hosted in the School Hall.
All school buildings are open from 8am until 5.20pm for both Pre-Prep and Prep pupils. Choristers arrive between 8am and 8.15am on various days. Both Pre-Prep and Prep schools begin at 8.40am, with assemblies or other activities commencing at 8.55am. While Pre-Prep finishes at 3.30pm and Prep at 4pm, afterschool activities and ‘prep’ free supervised Homework club are available till 5.20pm. Late stay care, till 6pm, is available for a charge in Pre-Prep.
