Any young person facing extra challenges is closely supported by staff with a bespoke plan, agreed with parents. Our kind, qualified, experienced and knowledgeable SENDCo works closely with pupils who need additional support. This can be direct work with pupils, diagnostic work or advising teachers on effective strategies to accommodate learning.

Our SENDCo is also Emotional Learning Support Assistant (ELSA) trained, and works with children to promote wellbeing when extra support is needed, beyond the pastoral care and rapport provided by form tutors and class teachers.

Where appropriate, we work closely with parents and carers to access other relevant agencies.
